This high strength, non-conducting and flame retardant material is perfect for many of your commercial and industrial needs. It does not melt and only begins to decompose at a temperature of 700 degrees Fahrenheit, and is unaffected by most acids. It does incur some strength loss after lengthy exposure to hydrochloric, nitric and sulfuric acids. Whether you use it for protective apparel, interior decorating, insulation, or any other of its wide variety of industrial uses, it is a high quality, strong material that will resist the damage of alkalis, mold and mildew. Also most commonly known as Nomex®. The remnants are 8 oz. at a thickness of 1/8" and ranges from 1 to 4 inches wide.
