100% Wool Dryer Balls

The benefits of using wool dryer balls
(and uses that will surprise you)

Are you a fan of fabric softeners and dryer sheets? If so, we cannot recommend our 100% Wool Dryer Balls enough! Our wool dryer balls work the same as your fabric softeners and dryer sheets, but without all the chemicals that may leave your skin irritated.

What are Dryer Balls?

Our Wool Dryer Balls are handcrafted from merino wool. The wool is felted to a finely formed ball dense enough to give it some weight to tumble around. While in the dryer, the dryer balls bounce around to create air circulation between your laundries and help maintain the humidity level by absorbing excess moisture as your load dries. This results in softer clothes that dry fast with less wrinkles and static, and bedding that stays nice fluffy. In fact, dryer balls eliminate the need for dryer sheets and fabric softeners altogether. Colored with beautiful vegetable-based dyes, our dryer balls are Eco-friendly and safe to use. Simply toss 3 or more balls into your dryer along with your laundry.  We recommend using 3 dryer balls for normal sized loads and about 6 for bulky items.

What are the Benefits?

Saves Money
One of the biggest benefits of our 100% Wool Dryer Balls is they reduce drying time by 20-30%, lowering the energy required to dry clothes. 100% Wool Dryer Balls absorb the moisture from washing, allowing you to get through your laundry faster. Plus, you’ll save money on your electricity bills!

Fluffs Up Laundry
100% Wool Dryer Balls help your dryer run more efficiently - fluffs up laundry, prevents clothes from clumping, increases air circulation and absorbs odor from clothing. When using dryer sheets, you are actually coating your clothing with an invisible film which not only damages your dryer but also prevents your clothes from naturally absorbing water (towel).

Baby Safe

Creating a baby-friendly environment starts with gentle, toxin-free clothing. With our organic 100% Wool Dryer Balls, your little one can snuggle up to naturally soft laundry free of harmful chemicals. Our wool dryer balls are hypo-allergenic, making them completely safe for people with sensitive skin and for baby/children’s clothes. Plus, the wool does not rub off or unravel and there are no dyes or perfumes.

Naturally Non-Static

Our dryer balls break the static energy in your laundry naturally with the power of 100% wool! Dryer sheets, liquid softeners and dryer pods all reduce the static in your clothing using a harmful silicone. This chemical can result in skin irritation and allergic reactions. Fortunately, our 100% Wool Dryer Balls are naturally anti-static and free of irritants.

Fragrance-Free
Did you know that chemical poly-dryer sheets give off harmful chemical scents when not in use? Fragrances in dryer sheets and fabric softeners can create respiratory issues, especially asthma, or trigger migraines. 100% Wool Dryer Balls are naturally unscented. If you would like to add some fragrance, just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the dryer balls before putting them in the dryer.

Soft to the Touch
100% Wool Dryer Balls are super soft. And because they are made up of an all-natural material, you don't have to fret when your little one, or even your pet, gets a hold of them.

Long Lasting
While a box of 80 dryer sheets may last up to 20 weeks, 100% Wool Dryer Balls can last up to 4 years! That’s approximately 1500+ loads.

Eco-Friendly
When using dryer sheets, they need to be thrown away frequently, taking up space in landfills. By contrast, wool will break down naturally. Simply throw them into your compost when your 100% Wool Dryer Balls have reached the end of the line.

BONUS!
Did you know you could use wool as mulch in your garden? Just toss your old 100% Wool Dryer Balls in your garden bed! Wool can hold water, increases oxygen in the soil, acts as a slow release fertilizer, and repels slugs and snails.

OK, I’m sold on dryer balls—can’t find them in your online store! Where are they hiding?
